Rose of Jericho

Rose of Jericho

The Rose of Jericho is a remarkable desert plant known for its ability to curl into a dry, dormant ball and seemingly return to life when placed in water. Often associated with renewal, resilience, and spiritual cleansing, it has been used in homes and rituals around the world as a symbol of fresh beginnings.

Care and Meaning

To care for a Rose of Jericho, place it in a shallow dish of water and watch its branches gradually unfurl. Change the water regularly and allow the plant to dry out between uses to help prevent mold. Whether displayed as a natural curiosity or incorporated into a meaningful personal practice, this unique plant offers a powerful reminder that rest, renewal, and growth can follow even the driest seasons.
